Helping you protect your future
I am a financial planner specialising in comprehensive financial advice by researching and considering the best retail investment products or providers available to meet the client's needs and thus provide clients with unbiased and unrestricted advice. This is a huge advantage to you the client.
My clients are my number one priority and everything I do I do for them. My philosophy is "look after your clients and everything else will look after itself.”
I have a Bcom degree as well as a Post Grad diploma in Financial Planning. I have also successfully passed the FPI’s board exam. Starting off in the banking sector I came across many heart wrenching situations where parents were desperately trying to get money to pay for school fees or businesses were struggling because of a lack of proper planning. This is when I realised that I wanted to become a financial planner, so that I can help people to realise their short and long term financial goals by implementing tailor made financial plans.
A financial plan is more than a set of financial strategies - it's a way to capture what's important to you, build wealth and translate it into the future you want. That's why I believe in ongoing, personal advice - building long-term financial plans that adapt to your changing needs, and bring you lasting financial security and wellbeing.

You don’t have to be able to do a headstand or salute the sun every day to appreciate the benefits of yoga. Now, this isn’t to say that everyone needs to start a daily practice, but it can be helpful to recognise that we can learn a lot from this ancient discipline. When you practice […]

This will ensure that you can continue to provide your dependants with a roof over their head if you pass away, or become disabled and cannot work. If you are the main income earner, but don’t […]

In 1993, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed that 15th May should be observed each year as the International Day of Families. ARE YOU SAVING ENOUGH?
How healthy is your financial plan when it comes to saving and provisioning funds for the future? Digital technology and our diverse economic systems and policies have increased our options both for investment and for risk protection. This is an arena that is constantly changing, growing rapidly and needs to be monitored regularly – which is one reason for having your own financial planner!
WHO DO YOU CHOOSE?
If you have never worked with a financial advisor before, you may find yourself overwhelmed by the choice, confused by the jargon and frustrated at the cost! But in the same way you wouldn't service your own car, it's good to have someone you trust to advise and guide you to make healthy decisions about your wealth.
CREATE WINNING STRATEGIES
Aside from being an expert in the money game and having a keen sense of the conditions and lay of the financial landscape, winning strategies are born inside of a relationship of trust, mutual understanding and a commitment to strive for the same goals. Your financial advisor should bring you peace-of-mind and help you maintain control of your finances.
Hear it from my clients
Ben Charlton understands that to our family our financial fitness is not simply a matter of figures on a balance sheet, its far more complex than that. To feel secure we have to have confidence that experts who truly care about our future are overseeing our investments. That’s Ben.
Following purchasing our first home and setting up a business, my husband and I were pleased to meet with Ben and benefit from their expertise. Ben has been helping us in recent months to put in place the necessary financial and legal structures to protect us and our business as it continues to grow. We have found them to be friendly and approachable, and they have listened to our desires and needs throughout the process.
After completing my medical degree I was hounded by financial planners to take out life policies, Retirement Annuities and investments. So I ended up with all these debit orders going off my account without really knowing why they were in place. After having a bad experience with my adviser I was referred to Ben, and I’m so glad I was. He took the time and explained to me why each different insurance is important, he also explained to me how much cover I should take and why. Now at the end of the month when the debit orders go off my account I know exactly what it is for and how it fits into my financial plan. I sleep well every night knowing that if the worst were to happen, I’m covered.
“Every risk is worth taking as long as it’s for a good cause, and contributes to a good life.”
